On this page you can make a reservation for the Tea Room!

Another important thing to note while making a reservation is to indicate whether your party is planning on doing High Tea when you make your reservation. Please note that any table over 10 people is required to do High Tea.
Making a reservation online is for the Tea Room Only – Patio is First come First Serve
Mother’s Day Weekend (Saturday May 9 & Sunday May 10, 2026) is not available for online reservation. Please call if you would like to book for Mother’s Day and we will try to get you in the best we can!
Reservations FAQ
The Need to Know
How long will you hold my reservation?
Reservations have a grace period of 15 mins. After that the table will be surrendered to the next available wait list member.
How long will my reservation be for?
Parties of 8+ people will have a 120 min allotted time. Otherwise smaller groups have a time limit of 90mins. We will try our best to accommodate extra time for groups when needed but please be respectful of our time limitations.
How can I book for more than 8 people?
Please call the shop to book for more than 8 people. We do require a credit card for groups more than 6.
Can I book a reservation on the Patio?
No. We do not reserve tables on the patio due to weather. We do allow for reservations to move outside when they get here and surrender their indoor table. Having our patio be first come first serve will also help move the waitlist along quickly.
Can I book a window table?
We can add that note to the reservation but it is NEVER guaranteed that we can accommodate this request. We shuffle reservations around all the time during service in order to accommodate all guests, and any surprise occurrences.
The Good to Know
Can I still call to make a reservation?
Yes! You are welcome to call and make a reservation or walk in to make a reservation. All the same practices will apply and you will also receive a confirmation text regarding your reservation. You must call to make a reservation for more than 8 people.
There are kids in my reservation, should I count them in the final total for my booking?
Yes. Anyone who needs a chair or space at the table, should be included in the final number of seats needed for your reservation. If you require a high chair, that child may be omitted from the total number of people in the reservation.
Is the Patio Covered?
During our busiest part of the season we do cover the patio with tents. There are often still some tables that remain in the sun, or as the sun moves around the building there are spots that will become exposed. This is part of the reason that we do not reserve the patio, but you are welcome to opt to move outside when you arrive.
Is the Patio Dog Friendly?
Yes! Dogs are welcome on the patio as long as they remain on leash. They are NOT welcome to walk through the restaurant (unless they are working and have the proper paperwork to allow them in the restaurant). We ask that you walk your pet around the building to get them onto the patio and please be respectful of other patrons at all times.
How many days in advance can you make a reservation?
Reservations can be made online 1 month in advance, if you would like to book for a period of time outside of that window. Please call the restaurant and we can try to accommodate.
Do you have Air Conditioning?
We do have Air conditioning, we have two units usually working at max capacity. However, we are in an old building without great insulation, as well as the ice cream line coming in and out constantly. So the building is naturally very warm in the summer and naturally chilly in the shoulder season. Please dress accordingly.
The Nitty Gritty
Why did you move to online booking?
We are lucky to be a busy spot, but we are a small business and we have staffing limitations. We moved to an online platform to alleviate phone congestion. People can now make a reservation online, cancel the reservation, and will receive confirmation messages 1 day before their reservation time. They can also communicate straight through to the host by sending us a message through the confirmation number, SMS rates will apply. This means the phone lines will be open for takeout, questions about the tea room or ice cream, and welcomed conversation.
Why did you start requiring credit card numbers?
Last year we had quite a few reservations, of all party sizes, that did not show up to the restaurant for their reservation. This negatively impacts our small business. We decided moving forward that an online reservation system with the capability to charge no-shows was the best way to ensure accountability for guests and make up for some of the lost income of tables not showing up.
How much are you charging for missed reservations?
We will be charging $10 per individual seat. If your reservation is a no show, or does not cancel within 24 hours of your reservation.
What if something comes up, that’s why I missed the reservation?
We have compassion! Things come up of course; if you have time to send us a message or give us a call, we are happy to omit you from the No show charge within reason. We will only charge the No Shows at the end of day – so please reach out if you can as to why you were unable to attend your reservation and we will not charge you for emergency purposes.
What if I am late for my reservation?
If you are late for your reservation, and you have arrived after the 15 min grace period, and your table was given to someone on the wait list. You will also be put on the bottom of the waitlist. Depending on the time of day, there is a good chance we will be able to move you around and hopefully accommodate your party as fast as we can.
Why is your FAQ so long?
We’re using this as a resource for people to gather information for our reservations in general. We do get these questions quite often and this is a place where people can read through the information before calling in and asking. Also having it all online sets the expectations for every reservation.
